B2B Sales Manager – Solar Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage

    B2B customers

    (solar EPC companies, channel partners, government contractors, industrial buyers, etc.)
  • Generate leads through market intelligence, cold calls, visits, exhibitions, and networking.
  • Manage the

    entire sales cycle

    : pitch → proposal → negotiation → closure → payment follow-up.
  • Develop

    dealer/distributor network

    across Vidarbha and adjoining regions.
  • Provide clients with product demos, technical guidance, and after-sales support coordination.
  • Track and meet

    monthly/quarterly sales targets

    .
  • Prepare

    sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis

    for management review.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, service, accounts) for timely delivery and project execution.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B conferences.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education

    : Any Graduate or /Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Science . MBA in Marketing is a plus.
  • Experience

    :
  • 3–6 years in

    B2B solar sales

    , preferably in solar modules, inverters, BOS components, or rooftop EPC.
  • Must have

    local area knowledge of Nagpur/Vidarbha region

    .
  • Strong

    negotiation, communication, and client relationship

    skills.
  • Should be able to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
