Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute B2B sales strategies aligned with company goals.

Set monthly/quarterly targets for volume and revenue growth.

Identify growth opportunities in HoReCa, institutions, caterers, and corporate clients.

Business Development

Identify and onboard new institutional buyers, bulk purchase clients, and food service partners.

Pitch products and negotiate trade terms, pricing, credit, and delivery schedules.

Track competitor activity and adjust sales strategy accordingly.

Distributor Management

Appoint new distributors in allocated area and maintain cordial relationships with them.

Monitor distributor ROI and support their operations to drive secondary sales.

Ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment of ice cream SKUs.

Key Account Management

Build strong relations with key institutional clients, such as:

Schools, colleges, and hospitals

Cafes and restaurants

Caterers and event organizers

Retail chains with bulk ice cream requirements

Negotiate annual contracts and ensure service delivery per SLAs.

Team Management (if applicable)

Supervise sales executives/promoters in the area.

Provide sales training and guidance on cold chain, product handling, and client servicing.

Monitor team KPIs (visits, orders, collections, etc.).

Cold Chain & Logistics Coordination

Ensure cold chain integrity during distribution and delivery.

Coordinate with logistics to meet client delivery schedules.

Address complaints related to quality, damage, or late delivery.

Sales Operations & Reporting

Monitor sales data, order pipelines, outstanding payments, and collection efficiency.

Submit daily/weekly reports on sales, targets vs. achievement, and customer feedback.

Use CRM or sales automation tools for lead tracking and reporting.

Trade Marketing & Promotions

Plan and execute B2B-focused promotional campaigns.

Liaise with the marketing team for visibility, POS material, and product sampling events.

Collect feedback on new product launches from the market.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure adherence to company policies related to pricing, credit terms, and delivery.

Maintain all B2B contracts, tax invoices, delivery challans, and stock records accurately.

Ensure regulatory and food safety compliance during delivery and storage.

Customer Relationship & Retention

Resolve complaints quickly and maintain high service levels.

Conduct regular business reviews with large clients.

Implement loyalty programs or incentives for high-value partners.
