Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Business Development:Proactively identify and engage potential business clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
  • Requirement Mapping:Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand business clients' specific risks and insurance coverage requirements.
  • Solution Development:Design and present customized insurance proposals and tailored solutions (e.g., general, health, motor insurance) to meet clients' needs.
  • Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing business clients, ensuring client satisfaction and driving renewals and upsells.
  • Negotiation & Sales Closing:Negotiate the terms and conditions of insurance policies and successfully close sales deals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with underwriting teams to develop competitive proposals and with internal teams for seamless policy issuance and claims support.
  • Market Intelligence:Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in insurance regulations.
  • Target Achievement:Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Documentation & Compliance:Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:Proven track record and several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Product Knowledge:In-depth understanding of general insurance products (fire, marine, liability, group health, etc.) and other relevant offerings.
  • Sales Skills:Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical & Business Acumen:Strong business acumen and analytical skills to understand market trends and client needs.
  • Client Management:Ability to manage multiple accounts, maintain strong relationships, and conduct client portfolio reviews.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Network (Preferred):An existing network of business contacts, such as corporate HR teams, is often a valuable asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
