Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Pre-Sales Consultant to support our business development and solutioning initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud adoption strategies, and solution architectures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, business acumen, and client engagement skills to help win new projects and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and present tailored Azure solutions, proposals, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to position Azure offerings effectively.
  • Conduct solution workshops, proof of concepts (POCs), and demos for customers.
  • Define solution architecture for cloud migrations, modernisation, and managed services.
  • Prepare effort estimation, pricing, and technical documentation for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Azure offerings, licensing models, and marketplace solutions.
  • Work closely with delivery/technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful handover.
  • Build strong relationships with Microsoft and technology partners for joint go-to-market strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of

    Microsoft Azure services

    : IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, Identity, Databases, DevOps, and Governance.
  • Experience in

    Cloud Migration, Landing Zone, Hybrid Cloud, and Managed Services

    solutioning.
  • Prior experience in responding to

    RFPs/RFIs

    with solution proposals and commercial inputs.
  • Excellent

    presentation, communication, and stakeholder management

    skills.
  • Ability to translate customer business needs into cloud solutions and ROI/TCO models.
  • Good understanding of

    Azure licensing, CSP programs, and cost optimisation

    .
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g.,

    AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-900

    ) preferred.

Good to Have

  • Experience in

    Pre-Sales for Data & AI, Security, or SAP on Azure

    .
  • Familiarity with competing platforms (AWS/GCP) for comparative positioning.
  • Exposure to

    Terraform, ARM templates, or automation

    for solution demos.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Microsoft Certified:

    Azure Solutions Architect Expert

    preferred.
