Azure Cloud Engineer

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud architecture according to business requirements
• Develop and automate deployment processes using various Azure services, such as Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Automation
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement security measures to protect cloud applications and data, including the management of Azure Active Directory and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and enhance development workflows
• Perform troubleshooting and maintain documentation on cloud solutions and architectures
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously enhance our cloud capabilities
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a related cloud engineering role
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure App Services
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience with Azure security services
• Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for working collaboratively in teams
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
