Job Title: Azure Administrator

Job Summary:

Role & responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, App Services, and Databases.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access controls (RBAC), and identity governance.
• Implement security best practices including firewalls, policies, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions in Azure.
• Support Azure networking services such as VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
• Automate routine tasks using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or ARM templates.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support hybrid and cloud-native workloads.
• Troubleshoot issues across Azure resources and provide timely resolution.
• Ensure adherence to cost optimization practices and monitor usage to stay within budgets.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure services, updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, preferably with Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center.
• Knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, VPN, VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform is a plus).
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure + On-premises).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to containers and Kubernetes (AKS).
