Specializing in Oracle Cloud, automation, data intelligence, and enterprise consulting, they help businesses modernize their systems and accelerate innovation at scale.Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS data services, big data processing, and modern data engineering best practices. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines on AWS.Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using AWS services.Implement batch and near real-time data processing solutions.Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.Optimize data storage, performance, and cost on AWS.Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, Product, DevOps).Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues.Mentor junior data engineers and conduct code reviews.Required Skills Qualifications5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as:S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, EMRLambda, Step FunctionsKinesis (Streams / Firehose)Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory); Scala/Java is a plus.Experience with SQL and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark preferred).Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data lakes.Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow / AWS MWAA preferred).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience with version control tools (Git).Good to HaveAWS Certification (AWS Certified Data Analytics / Solutions Architect).Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis).Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.Exposure to data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Mentoring and leadership capabilities.
