Job Summary

The Sr. Developer role is pivotal in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies. With a focus on optimizing data workflows and ensuring seamless integration the candidate will leverage their expertise in AWS services and Python to drive innovation. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site aligning with the companys commitment to work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS Cloud Formation to ensure scalable and efficient infrastructure.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes by utilizing Amazon RDS and Amazon Redshift for enhanced performance.
Monitor system performance and security using AWS CloudWatch and AWS
IAM to maintain robust and secure environments.
Design and execute ETL processes with AWS Glue Studio and AWS Glue ETL to streamline data transformation and integration.
Manage and catalog data efficiently using AWS Glue Catalog and Amazon S3 for organized and accessible data storage.
Utilize Apache Spark for large-scale data processing to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS solutions into existing systems enhancing overall functionality.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud computing and data management.
Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all cloud-based solutions and processes.
Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends to continuously improve system capabilities.
Contribute to the companys mission by delivering high-quality reliable cloud solutions that drive business growth.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in AWS Cloud Formation Amazon RDS and AWS CloudWatch demonstrating practical experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in AWS
IAM and Amazon Redshift showcasing the ability to manage complex data environments.
Exhibit expertise in Python programming for developing robust and efficient cloud-based applications.
Have hands-on experience with AWS Glue Studio AWS Glue ETL and AWS Glue Catalog for seamless data integration.
Show capability in using Amazon S3 and Apache Spark for data storage and processing tasks.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of new AWS technologies and best practices.
Preferably hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
