As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Contract Management at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to compliance and closure. Your role will involve ensuring that all agreements align with business objectives while effectively managing legal and operational risks. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts to meet business needs. - Handle agreements related to corporate and branch leases, licenses, and related documentation. - Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and best practices. - Advise business teams on the impact of new laws or regulations on commercial arrangements. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties to ensure timely contract closures. - Develop and implement best practices in contract management processes. - Maintain accurate records and manage contract-related data. - Provide periodic reports and updates on contract activities to stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Education: LL.B from a reputed law college. - Experience: 14-15 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract management. - Sound understanding of procedural and contract laws. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in life insurance contracts will be an added advantage.
