Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with experience in testing .NET-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, test scripting, and execution, along with knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for .NET applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using automation tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and document software defects with clear reproducible steps.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure best practices.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Execute and analyze test results, generating reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain test environments, data, and automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing of .NET applications.
  • Proficiency with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, or SpecFlow.
  • Strong knowledge of C# or another programming/scripting language.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing (e.g., Postman, RestSharp).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with Test Management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure Test Plans).
  • Exposure to security testing basics.
