Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly capable Automation Test Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in designing and executing test automation strategies for enterprise-grade web and SaaS applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Selenium, TestNG, Java, and should be well-versed in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

This role is crucial in our effort to ensure bug-free, scalable, and high-performing applications by increasing the test coverage and reducing the manual effort through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java & TestNG Or Python & PyTest.
• Build a scalable and reusable automation framework aligned with project requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into test cases.
• Set up and maintain automation test environments across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Perform API automation testing using tools like Postman and validate service integrations.
• Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like LambdaTest or similar.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test automation coverage and effectiveness.
• Ensure full traceability of testing through the traceability matrix.
• Report and track bugs using JIRA and participate in defect triaging.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum settings to plan sprints and allocate QA efforts effectively.

Required Skills:

• Automation Tools & Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG
• Programming Language: Java,Python (for automation scripting)
• API Testing & Automation: Postman, REST APIs
• Performance Testing (Bonus): JMeter, NeoLoad
• Test Management & Bug Tracking: JIRA, TestRail, Confluence
• CI/CD Integration: LambdaTest or equivalent
• Testing Types: Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, UAT
• Strong understanding of STLC, bug lifecycle, and QA best practices

Good to Have:

• Hands-on experience with SaaS-based applications or CRM platforms
• Prior experience in testing financial applications with complex calculations
• Knowledge of load and performance testing tools
• Exposure to tools like Firebase Crashlytics for mobile/web issue monitoring
