We are seeking a dynamic Automation Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation systems and be passionate about driving sales in the manufacturing industry. This role involves understanding client requirements, providing tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships with customers. The Automation Sales Engineer will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Identify and establish relationships with potential customers in the manufacturing sector.
Understand customer needs and provide appropriate automation solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing the deal.
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
Provide ongoing support to customers and handle post-sales inquiries.
Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and promote our solutions.
Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or a Diploma in relevant fields.
1-12 years of experience in sales or engineering roles, preferably in the automation or manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of automation technologies and products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in technical presentations and customer engagement.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
