Role Overview

Quality Engineer – Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test automation solutions and frameworks for efficient test execution.
• Perform automated testing across multiple layers: UI, API, services, data, and technologies including mobile, devices, browsers, client-server, microservices, and containers.
• Develop automation solutions that enable functional testers to perform tests in an automated way.
• Understand functional requirements and design optimized test scenarios.
• Identify test cases and integrate them with application code and DevOps pipelines for automated execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing and deployment processes.
• Leverage IGNITE-Cucumber framework for BDD-based automation testing.
• Document test results, maintain test scripts, and perform debugging as needed.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and developing automated test solutions.
• Strong programming skills and experience with automation tools.
• Experience in automating testing across application layers – UI, API, services, and data.
• Knowledge of IGNITE-Cucumber framework and integrating automated tests into DevOps pipelines.
• Understanding of functional requirements, test scenario design, and optimized test coding.

• IQP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience testing across mobile, devices, browsers, client-server, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of business domain/processes.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver quality solutions.
