Position Overview

Automation and Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and test PLC programs (preferably Siemens, or equivalent like Allen Bradley, Schneider)
Configure SCADA/HMI systems for process monitoring and control (e.g., WinCC, Citect, Ignition or equivalent)
Work with E&I drawings and I/O mapping
Support onsite commissioning (optional international project travel if interested)
Collaborate with design teams and project managers to meet engineering deliverables
Perform troubleshooting and retrofit support for existing systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation (plant or project-based)
Strong knowledge in PLC programming (Siemens S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal, Step7, etc.)
Experience in SCADA/HMI configuration
Familiarity with control panel layouts, loop diagrams, and commissioning tasks
Good communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

Exposure to IIoT or remote monitoring
Experience with WinCC, Citect SCADA, or Allen Bradley RSLogix
Interest in working on global projects
