Position Overview We are looking for a skilled Automation and Control Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on industrial experience in PLC and SCADA systems. This role involves developing, testing, and commissioning control systems for process and facility automation projects. Hybrid working is offered with flexibility to operate remotely and report onsite as needed. Position: PLC Programmer Location: Hybrid Experience Required: Minimum 7 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a seasoned PLC Programmer to augment our India-based team. This hybrid role entails supporting both international and domestic projects, necessitating a strong proficiency in PLC logic development, SCADA/HMI configuration, and simulation/testing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design engineers and site teams to ensure the seamless deployment and commissioning of industrial automation systems. Key Responsibilities Develop, simulate, and test PLC programs using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and others. Configure and integrate SCADA/HMI graphics with tools like WinCC, Wonderware, and Citect. Prepare comprehensive I/O lists, logic flow diagrams, control philosophy, and testing documentation. Conduct offline simulation and software Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before deployment. Provide support to commissioning teams both remotely and on-site as needed. Work collaboratively with international project teams and site engineers to ensure smooth project handover. Maintain version control and document updates throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development. Hands-on expertise with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, and/or Mitsubishi PLCs.
