Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to create detailed technical drawings and layouts that support our facility design and engineering projects in pharmaceutical and biotech environments. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to produce accurate designs that comply with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software based on engineering concepts, design briefs, and field data.
• Collaborate with the project teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and standards.
• Interpret and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to revise and improve design documents.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and documentation, including version control, file organisation, and revision history.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards, including cleanroom design and pharmaceutical facility guidelines where applicable.
• Support project documentation, layouts, and reports for design reviews, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist in site visits to verify dimensions, gather measurements, and translate field data into drawings.
• Stay updated on CAD best practices and recommend improvements to drafting processes and standards.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Pharmaceutical), Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

• Proven experience (preferably 2–5+ years) as an AutoCAD Designer.
• Experience in design work related to industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or process-oriented environments is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Knowledge of additional CAD software is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles, dimensioning, scale, and technical detailing.
