Assist in evaluating internal controls and identifying potential risks or inefficiencies.
Support field audits by accompanying senior auditors for physical asset verification, stock audits, or process walkthroughs.
Work on standard audit checklists to assess compliance and document findings.
Perform data entry and basic financial analysis (e.g., ratio analysis, variance checks).
Prepare and organize audit working papers and supporting documentation for easy reference.
Communicate with internal departments or clients to request missing documents or clarify discrepancies.
Conduct compliance checks related to tax regulations (e.g., GST returns, TDS) and company policies.
Summarize audit findings and contribute to drafting preliminary reports.
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing learning of audit standards such as IFRS or Accounting Standards (AS).
