Role Overview

Responsible for executing statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. The role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, execute, and complete statutory, tax, internal, and special audits in compliance with laws and standards.
2. Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
3. Prepare and maintain accurate audit working papers, schedules, and reports.
4. Ensure compliance with Standards on Auditing (SAs), Ind AS, and other regulations.
5. Prepare and file Income Tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
6. Conduct tax audits under section 44AB, manage assessments, and liaise with tax authorities.
7. File GST returns, perform reconciliations, manage GST audits, and advise on compliance.
8. Prepare and file TDS/TCS returns, ensuring accurate deduction, deposit, and reconciliation.
9. Stay updated with amendments in tax laws and ensure timely compliance.
10. Provide tax planning and advisory to optimize liabilities and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Education:

  CA / CMA / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.

• Experience:

  Minimum 2 to 4 years in audit and taxation (articleship can be considered).

• Technical Skills:

• Tally ERP / Busy / other accounting software
• MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation)
• E-filing portals for GST, Income Tax, MCA

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
