Audit Specialist

As a Senior Audit Specialist (Grade 8 or 9), you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of the internal control and risk assessment framework within the Internal Audit department. Your primary focus will be on Information Technology (IT) audits, including JSOX Testing, NTT Group identified audits, and other risk-based internal audit reviews. Your responsibilities will include executing and managing IT-related J-SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) and IFC (Internal Financial Control) testing, as well as operational audit projects. This will involve tasks such as process and information systems mapping, risk and control identification, designing audit tests, and preparing audit documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing Design & Operating effectiveness testing for IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) while ensuring adherence to professional standards. Collaboration with the audit team to maintain consistency and standardization of audit processes and compliance with professional standards will be a key aspect of your role. You will also serve as a technical matter expert on controls to assist senior management in making informed decisions. To excel in this position, you must possess a good understanding and hands-on IT audit experience, particularly with SAP ECC application system and SAP GRC Security System. The ability to work on multiple projects and assignments across various disciplines is essential. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are mandatory for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. Desirable qualifications include a degree in CIA, CA, CISA, or CISSP, along with 2 to 4 years of experience in IT General Controls Audit, Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Risk Assurance, or Consulting. Exposure to data analytics, a background as a Chartered Accountant with a Big 4 firm, and experience in the IT/ITES industry would be advantageous for this role.,
