Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Assistant to support our audit team in conducting internal and external audits. The role involves assisting in financial reviews, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and helping to maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audit assignments as per company policies and statutory requirements.
• Support auditors in reviewing financial statements, ledgers, and related documents.
• Verify compliance with internal control systems, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare working papers, audit documentation, and draft audit reports.
• Identify discrepancies, variances, or errors and report them to senior auditors.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and verify supporting documents.
• Assist in risk assessments and internal control evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and sensitive information.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external clients for audit-related queries.
• Stay updated with accounting standards, tax regulations, and auditing practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Pursuing or completed CA/ICWA/ACCA/CPA (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
