Assurance Audit - Senior

As an EY Assurance Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work, and managing day-to-day operations. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading engagements and ensuring the team delivers work as per EY GAM and Global team expectations. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of GAM and EY tools for efficient reviews. - Developing relationships with key EY Global counterparts and embedding Quality and Risk Management procedures. - Discussing workflow management, resource allocation, and monitoring performance against standards. - Establishing expectations of value delivery and identifying opportunities for improvement. - Standardizing review processes and leveraging best practices. - Motivating and leading GDS team members, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback/training. Skills and attributes for success include expert knowledge of accounting standards, excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, project management, leadership, and coaching skills. To qualify for this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / ACCA / CPA with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting firms or MNCs. Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook is required, along with an interest in business and commerciality.
