Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management (End-to-End)

  • Manage complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, role changes, and exits
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, documentation, and HRIS updates
  • Handle probation reviews, role transitions, and employee movements in line with company policies

Payroll & Compliance

  • Own monthly payroll processing in coordination with finance and payroll vendors
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other applicable labor laws
  • Support payroll audits and resolve payroll-related employee queries in a timely manner

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technology and non-technology roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and define sourcing strategies
  • Drive sourcing through job portals, referrals, LinkedIn, and vendor partnerships
  • Coordinate interviews, manage offer rollouts, negotiations, and pre-joining engagement
  • Support workforce planning and hiring forecasts aligned with business needs

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Drive structured onboarding programs to ensure smooth assimilation of new hires
  • Conduct induction sessions covering company culture, policies, and processes
  • Ensure a positive new joiner experience from Day 0 to confirmation

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team events, town halls, and recognition programs
  • Drive employee communication initiatives to strengthen transparency and alignment
  • Conduct engagement surveys, analyze feedback, and implement action plans
  • Support initiatives that enhance morale, belonging, and organizational culture

Attrition Management & Retention

  • Track attrition trends and identify root causes through data and exit feedback
  • Conduct exit interviews and share insights with leadership
  • Work closely with managers to implement retention and engagement strategies
  • Maintain attrition dashboards and periodic reports

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and timely resolution of employee issues
  • Support POSH compliance, committee coordination, and awareness programs

Exit Management & Full & Final Settlement

  • Manage resignation processing, notice period tracking, and exit formalities
  • Coordinate full and final settlements in collaboration with finance
  • Ensure timely issuance of relieving letters, experience letters, and exit documentation

HR Operations & Process Excellence

  • Maintain and improve HR SOPs, policies, and documentation
  • Drive process improvements and automation across HR operations
  • Ensure HR SLAs are met across recruitment, payroll, and employee support
  • Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and leadership updates

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders and managers to support people-related decisions
  • Provide HR guidance on policies, performance, and employee matters
  • Support organizational initiatives and change programs as required

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and process orientation
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Keka / Zoho / GreytHR or similar)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
