Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Trainer – Jewelry Brand

Location: Surat

Department: Training & Development / Human Resources

Reports To: Retail Operations Manager

Travel to stores is compulsory.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Trainer to join our growing jewelry brand. The Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills, product knowledge, and customer service standards of retail and corporate staff. This role is key to ensuring that our team represents the brand with expertise and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:1. Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver 

    training modules

     on product knowledge (diamonds, gold, gemstones, certifications, etc.), customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Conduct 

    induction programs

     for new joiners across retail and corporate roles.
  • Organize 

    refresher training sessions

     periodically to ensure knowledge retention and skill enhancement.

2. Retail & Sales Enablement

  • Train front-line staff on 

    visual merchandising, clienteling, upselling techniques

    , and 

    store SOPs

    .
  • Ensure staff are updated on new collections, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Work with store managers to 

    identify training needs

     and address performance gaps.

3. Evaluation & Reporting

  • Track training effectiveness through feedback forms, role-plays, mystery audits, and KPI improvements.
  • Maintain detailed training records and submit 

    monthly reports

     to management.
  • Provide inputs for performance evaluations based on training outcomes.

4. Communication & Brand Alignment

  • Ensure that all training content is aligned with the 

    brand’s voice, values, and positioning

    .
  • Act as a brand ambassador and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (a degree in Retail Management, HR, or Communication is a plus).
  • Minimum 

    3-5 years of experience as a Trainer

    , preferably in the 

    luxury retail or jewelry industry

    .
  • Strong knowledge of 

    jewelry products

    , materials, and certifications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and local languages (as required).

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Training & Development or Instructional Design.
  • Experience with e-learning tools and content development platforms.
  • Strong sense of fashion, luxury trends, and customer psychology.
