Associate Trainee - Sales and Services

As an Associate Trainee - Sales and Services at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: Role Overview: - Greet and receive customers warmly, engaging with them to understand their requirements. - Showcase products to customers and influence their buying decisions. - Learn and understand sales procedures, acquiring product knowledge. - Emulate sales representatives to meet set targets. - Assist in sales return or repair work for customers. - Calculate and prepare estimates for selected products. - Achieve category-wise sales targets and suggest solutions for store profit enhancement. - Learn billing procedures and business policies of Malabar Gold and Diamonds. - Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, and product knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in stock counting and tallying daily, recording opening and closing stock. - Transfer stock to the locker daily and handle ornaments with care. - Support visual merchandising activities in-store. - Learn marketing techniques and support in event management and product exhibitions. - Assist in below-the-line marketing activities. - Ensure on-the-job training in various sections like packing, purchase, cash, order repair, marketing, customer relations, etc. - Demonstrate integrity and honesty, escalating customer queries and complaints to superiors. - Adhere to standard operating procedures. - Strive for self-development, adhere to timelines for performance appraisal, and identify training needs. - Maintain staff grooming standards and participate in on-site training activities.
