Job Overview

A leading product-based technology company is seeking an Associate Technical Lead – Software Development to join its engineering team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C# development, full-cycle software engineering, and Windows application development, with experience building scalable, product-grade solutions. This role is well-suited for engineers passionate about automation, image processing, and robotics, who can work independently and thrive in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement new product features and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and supporting tools.
• Perform bug analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams and field engineers.
• Handle the complete software development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and analysis to deployment and support.
• Contribute to the creation and interpretation of UML models.
  

Must-Have Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in software engineering, with strong expertise in C# development.
• Proven track record in product development within a product-based company.
• Hands-on experience with Windows application development (web-only profiles will not be considered).
• Solid understanding of version control systems (preferably Git).
• Familiarity with UML modeling and ability to create and interpret diagrams.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Stable career history — minimum 2 years tenure per organization.
• Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 engineering college.
• Willingness to relocate to Chennai and work on-site three days per week.

• Experience with C++ development.
• Exposure to image processing, automation, or robotics projects.
• Proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently in a small team.
