Job Description

Receive inquiry and do study of requirement.
Communicate the decision of qualification or non qualification to Sales department as per process.
Verify and match work specifications against solutions.
Contact client and get additional information/data required for understanding work scope & preparation of proposal.
Prepare BOM, understand material/work requirement and prepare technical offer.
Consider all the technical aspects in preparation of technical offer.
Coordinate with Management and other departments to discuss on technical offer.
Designing and selection of various equipment. Discussions with engineering team regarding feasibility of concepts. Implementation of new ideas. Prepare technical offer and handover to sales department.
Understand changes communicated by client. Rework on BOM and work scope. Prepare revised technical offer. Submit revised offer to sales department.
Prepare & verify offer document. Submit to Sales department along with process flow.
Understand queries of client on technical and commercial terms and provide necessary data/information to resolve queries.
Get the client confirmation on technical offer. Receive estimate from Estimation & Costing department.
Prepare techno commercial offer. Consider all the technical work aspects and scope while preparing commercial offer.
Discuss commercial proposal with Management and take approval. Submit techno commercial proposal to sales department.
Send RFQ to various vendors and evaluate them. Understand technical aspects of their offerings.
Invite them to office to discuss in detail about their technical offering. Make comparison on advantages and disadvantages of all to take decision on which vendor to select.
New programs to be developed based on daily tasks and new developments to make proposal process faster.
