Position Overview:

The Associate Product Manager (APM) will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product. This role combines technical depth, product thinking, and business acumen to ensure product evolves as the most powerful and scalable integration platform for the renewable energy industry. The APM works closely with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with customer and market needs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science); MBA in Product / Operations Management preferred.

2. 36 years of experience in product or technical program management within Energy, IIoT, or SCADA domains.

3. Familiarity with communication standards such as IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 104, OPC-UA, and data APIs.

4. Strong understanding of data integration, middleware architecture, and distributed systems.

5. Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Proficiency with product management tools (Zoho Projects, Jira, Confluence, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

1. Hands-on experience with protocol simulators, middleware systems, or data brokers.

2. Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery frameworks.

3. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication abilities.

4. Strategic thinking combined with technical depth and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Translate the overall product vision and strategy for Solvyn X into actionable product roadmaps and development tasks.

2) Collaborate with engineering teams to define and validate technical requirements, system behaviors, and data flows.

3) Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture product feedback, pain points, and improvement opportunities.

4) Define and document feature specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

5) Prioritize and manage product backlog, balancing customer impact, technical feasibility, and business goals.

6) Evaluate and propose integration opportunities across protocols (Modbus, IEC 104, IEC 61850, OPC-UA, MQTT) and data APIs.

7) Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and technology advancements to refine Solvyn X positioning.

8) Collaborate with Product Coordinator and other teams to ensure timely delivery, documentation, and testing of new releases.

9) Participate in customer demos, technical workshops, and field interactions to understand real-world use cases.

10) Contribute to cost and risk analysis for feature rollouts and system integrations.

Set and improve internal product process settings, ensuring scalability and repeatability in design and deployment workflows.
