Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure services and Snowflake.
Implement transformation logic using dbt with base, intermediate, and business logic models.
Apply Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for data layering.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define KPIs, validation rules, and transformation logic.
Ensure CI/CD deployment via Azure DevOps; follow Git-based workflows.
Drive performance optimization, observability, and structured error handling.
Enable lineage, audit trails, and metadata management via tools like Microsoft Purview.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5–7 years in data engineering with strong experience in Snowflake, dbt (Cloud preferred), Azure Data Factory.
Solid understanding of data warehousing best practices and modular SQL development.
Strong command over data quality frameworks, schema drift handling, and transformation governance.
Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with metadata tools and cataloging (Microsoft Purview).
Strong documentation and testing discipline.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
