Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager for the third-party risk management (TPRM) team within the Network & Nostro Management Centre of Excellence (NNM COE), you will support the business by assisting in the execution of non-vendor TPRM processes. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with key stakeholders from the business to help oversee and execute the onboarding, oversight, and off-boarding of non-vendor third-party relationships, ensuring adherence to defined processes and related systems. Additionally, you will focus on continuous monitoring of non-vendor relationships, reporting on risk metrics, suggesting improvement opportunities, and providing strategic insights. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of TPRM strategies aligned with NNM COE objectives. - Provide insights and integrate TPRM into broader business strategies. - Support the execution of non-vendor TPRM processes for CIB, including managing onboarding, oversight, and off-boarding of non-vendor third-party relationships. - Help identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks. - Report on risk metrics and non-vendor third-party performance. - Ensure compliance with bank standards and support the enhancement of NNM COE TPRM processes. - Continuously monitor non-vendor third-party relationships. - Assist in maintaining and updating NNM COE TPRM policies and procedures. - Utilize data analytics to support process effectiveness. - Manage daily NNM COE TPRM operations. - Assist in mentoring the NNM COE TPRM team. - Provide training and development opportunities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Promote risk awareness and compliance. - Help identify, assess, and manage non-vendor third-party risks. - Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. - Ensure regulatory compliance. - Conduct regular risk assessments and assist in related control activities. - Help establish and maintain governance frameworks. - Ensure adherence to governance policies. - Update senior leadership on third-party risks. - Maintain ethical standards in NNM COE TPRM activities. - Engage and communicate with key stakeholders. - Build and maintain strong relationships. - Address stakeholder concerns promptly. - Coordinate with business, legal, compliance, and risk departments. - Participate in the rollout of new systems, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), undergo training, provide ongoing feedback for improvement, and operationalize new processes associated with the system rollout. Qualifications Required: - A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on third-party risk management, and 5-7 years of experience in the banking industry. - Demonstrated experience in understanding financial regulations and compliance. - Proven ability to support and assist in managing teams. - Experience in conducting risk assessments and supporting the development of risk mitigation strategies. - Familiarity with risk management systems and processes related to third-party relationships. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assist in making data-driven decisions. - Experience in supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to third-party risk management. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to stakeholders at various levels. - Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Proven ability to support and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. - Basic negotiation skills to assist in managing third-party relationships and contracts. - Ability to make informed and timely decisions, especially under pressure. - Skilled in resolving conflicts and finding mutually beneficial solutions. - Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. - High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in risk management processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.,
