Associate Manager - Regional Logistics @ Crompton

The Regional Logistics SPOC will be responsible for managing and optimizing logistics operations within South region. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods across the supply chain, coordinating with vendors, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to meet service level agreements and regional objectives.

Role & responsibilities:

• Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy in all warehouses of the region.
• Coordinate with regional warehouses for efficient and optimum storage .
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.

• Transportation & Distribution

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments within the region.
• Negotiate and secure transportation rates with carriers and logistics providers.
• Optimize routing and dispatch systems to minimize costs and improve delivery timelines.

• Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to company policies, local/state regulations, and safety standards for warehouses.
• Ensure that all warehouses are adhering to the respective SOPs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including Billing records, invoices, and compliance reports.

• Performance Monitoring

• Track KPIs such as delivery times, service quality and cost minimisation.
• Control on detention in each warehouse.
• Monitoring Reverse Logistics and ensure regular update of MIS
• Analyze logistical issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
• Prepare periodic reports for regional and corporate management.

• Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the liaison between suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, sales team and customers.
• Resolve issues related to delays, damaged goods, or shortage deliveries.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree . knowledge in

  Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, knowledge in Secondary operation & C&F operations

• 5 to 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and regional compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics software SAP knowledge is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
