Job Description

As a Manager in the Media Buying & Planning team, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating optimal rates with vendors, meticulous planning, strategic thinking ensuring flawless execution of media campaigns, and identifying new opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach in bridging the gap between clients and media vendors, achieving monthly targets, and evaluating program results for optimization.

Education/Job Experience Required:

MBA/masters degree

Job Experience Required:

2-4 Years of experience in Media Planning & Buying/ B2B Sales role.

Day-to-Day Work:

Campaign Planning and Strategy:

  1. Collaborate with the Account Management team to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key messaging.
  2. Develop comprehensive Print media strategies aligned with overarching marketing goals.
  3. Conduct market research to identify optimal print media opportunities and locations for maximum reach and impact.
  4. Determine budget allocation for different print media channels and locations.

Media Buying and Negotiation:

  1. Identify and negotiate with print media vendors to secure the best rates and placements.
  2. Utilize negotiation skills to secure advantageous media deals while adhering to budget constraints.
  3. Develop strong relationships with print media vendors to leverage future opportunities.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure the best rates and add value to client campaigns.

Campaign Execution and Management:

  1. Coordinate the end-to-end execution of print media campaigns, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Must Have:

  1. Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously including external projects, while consistently meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  2. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Possesses a proven track record of successfully negotiating with vendors in previous roles.
  4. Comfortable using Excel & PowerPoint.

Good to have:

1. Prior Knowledge of Advertising Industry (Print Media In specific)
