Associate Manager - EHS

Purpose/Objective

To ensure everyone in the project complies with health and safety management system.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Take pro-active measures to identify hazard, assess the risk and then implement suitable control measures to eliminate all dangers. 2. To ensure subcontractors comply to the requirements of the Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments. 3. Review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution. 4. Maintain pertinent information on Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and to ensure the relevant communication information is distributed to the responsible party. 5. Ensure first aid facility and welfare facilities for workers are in good condition. 6. Coordinate with Sub-Contractor on training courses where appropriate for any unfamiliar or hazardous operations being introduced onto the project and ensure the safety awareness always remains high. 7. To conduct site safety inspection and recommend corrective action for unsafe act of workers and rectification for unsafe condition in all workplaces by submitting written report to HQ. 8. Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, relevant stakeholders and the public using principles of good customer service. 9. Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by superior. Operational 1. Daily concern reporting regarding OHS related issues into Gensuite. 2. Conduct Induction training to all stakeholders 3. Conduct On site job related OHS trainings 4. Conduct PTW audit on regular interval 5. Conduct regular inspection to fire extinguishers, RCCB and earthling pits 6. Conduct periodic inspection to all portable tools and tackles 7. Conduct periodic inspection to all construction machineries. 8. Conduct periodic inspection to all scaffoldings 9. Ensure strict implementation of LSSR 10. Ensure all OHS checklists are maintained by respective department 11. Ensure LOTO compliance for electrical isolation 12. Maintain PPE inventory 13. Conduct investigation to all incidents and submit CAPA 14. Assist Project OHS head for legal compliance 15. Conduct Mock drills as per Emergency Preparedness Plan

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma/BSC+ Any recognized safety degree Experiences: 7 and above years’ experience in construction in reputed Based organization.
