Associate (Investments)

Role Overview:

This role will support the family office’s investment activities across public markets and real estate transactions. The role involves a combination of portfolio monitoring, reporting, and deal management, thereby requiring strong analytical skills, basic market awareness, and timely execution capability.

A. Public Market / Trading Portfolio Support (80% focus)

● Monitor the family office’s trading and investment portfolios on a daily basis, tracking key market movements and developments.

● Identify and report significant price or volume changes, corporate announcements, earnings releases, and other material events.

● Maintain and monitor price triggers, targets, and stop-loss levels as defined by the investment team.

● Prepare and circulate weekly reports, including allocation/deployment, P&L etc.

● Support the team in maintaining data on sectoral and macroeconomic trends relevant to portfolio holdings.

B. Real Estate Transaction Support (20% focus)

● Maintain a deal flow tracker summarizing new opportunities, ongoing evaluations, and transaction status.

● Assist with deal evaluation by benchmarking against market prices, yields, and comparable transactions.

● Liaise with legal, finance, and external advisors to facilitate documentation, diligence, and closure of transactions.

● Support the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and internal review materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

● Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (CFA is a plus)

● 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis/equity research, public market trading/support, etc.

● Proficiency in Excel/Google docs and strong analytical capability; familiarity with market platforms such as Kite/Zerodha, TradingView, is desirable.

● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Compensation:

Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance-based incentive structure may be considered.
