Associate – Centre of Excellence & Strategy Cell

About the Role

The Centre of Excellence & Strategy Cell Associate will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council of India’s (NDFCI) knowledge and strategy initiatives. The incumbent will coordinate with the Council’s consultants across domains — GST, Taxation, Customs, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Plant Protection & Quarantine (PPQ) — and develop a structured Knowledge Bank to support and inform our members.

He/ She will also anchor our publications “MEWA Insights”, NDFCI’s quarterly magazine, overseeing its complete production from content planning to publication, as well as the “Monthly Newsletter”. Additionally, the Associate will assist in conceptualising and conducting technical seminars and knowledge sessions, including during MEWA India 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultant Coordination: Liaise with domain consultants (GST, Tax, Customs, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, PPQ, etc.) to gather updates, opinions, and advisories relevant to the industry.
• Knowledge Management: Develop, update, and maintain an accessible Knowledge Bank consolidating regulatory updates, case studies, and policy insights for member reference.
• Publication Oversight: Take full ownership of the quarterly magazine “MEWA Insights” and “Monthly Newsletter” — from planning themes, coordinating content, editing and design, to final printing and digital dissemination.
• Seminar & Event Support: Conceptualize and coordinate technical and regulatory sessions during MEWA India 2026 and other NDFCI events. Stakeholder Coordination:

Communicate effectively with speakers, advisors, vendors and internal teams for MEWA India planning and execution.

• Research & Analysis: Track emerging policies, regulations, and market developments impacting the nuts and dry fruits sector; prepare concise briefs for internal and external circulation.
• Member Engagement: Disseminate key information and insights to members in a timely and professional manner through newsletters, updates, or presentations.
• Strategic Support: Contribute to strategic reports, white papers, and policy recommendations developed by the Centre of Excellence.
• MoUs & Partnership Management: Draft, review and manage Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with partner organisations, maintaining version control and follow-up protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postgraduate degree preferred (Economics / Public Policy / Law / Food Technology / Business Administration or related field).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in policy research, regulatory affairs, or industry associations.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong editorial and content development skills.
• High sense of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with sincerity and commitment.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills; ability to engage with senior professionals and subject experts.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with publishing or design tools (InDesign / Canva) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
