Associate Category Manager

As an Associate Manager in Category Management (Bags) at a leading fashion e-commerce platform based in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in owning and scaling the category. With 5-8 years of experience in Category Management or Fashion E-commerce, you will be responsible for driving sales and growth, enhancing brand management, and optimizing customer experience to achieve category growth and sales targets. Your primary responsibilities will include owning revenue goals, improving key performance indicators such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention, as well as aligning website content with monthly and seasonal promotions to drive sales. You will also negotiate budgets, margins, and promotional spends with brand partners, monitor brand performance, and implement corrective actions to meet business plans. Additionally, you will plan and execute brand campaigns to increase visibility and awareness in the market. To excel in this role, you should bring strong expertise in Category Management, preferably within the fashion or e-commerce industry, along with exceptional commercial acumen and vendor negotiation skills. Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting is essential, as well as the ability to cultivate long-term brand partnerships and achieve P&L goals.
