Associate Art Director

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Art Director to interpret design documentation and assist in establishing the visual goals for project.
• Support in shaping the visual identity of a game by contributing to mood boards, concepts, and asset development plans.
• Assist with the creation and refinement of 2D and 3D game assets, including UI elements, environments, props, and characters, based on project needs.
• Coordinate closely with the art & development team to ensure assets are aligned with the defined style and meet quality benchmarks.
• Help maintain consistency in color palettes, lighting, composition, and overall visual balance throughout the game.
• Participate in feedback loops and ensure that revisions and iterations are implemented effectively.
• Contribute to asset integration, material setup, and minor visual troubleshooting within Unity.
• Stay informed about current mobile game art trends and provide suggestions to improve the game’s visual appeal.
• Adapt to the fast-paced, iterative development cycle and adjust artwork according to evolving requirements.
• Work on enhancing games with engaging visual effects (VFX) and smooth animations to maintain high visual standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in art direction within the mobile gaming industry, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Working knowledge of Unity, with basic understanding of asset integration and optimization.
• Solid artistic foundations with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering visually stunning games.
• A collaborative leader, skilled in fostering teamwork and communication, adept at giving and receiving feedback to drive creative excellence.
• Passionate about the mobile games market, with a commitment to leveraging insights for game improvement.
• Innovative mindset, with a willingness to experiment and iterate rapidly.
• Proficiency in and knowledge of material setup, and checking meshes and animations in Unity are a must.
