Associate Accountant

Role Overview: As a member of the Controllership SSC team in Hyderabad, you will partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams. You will be a trusted advisor for customer contract negotiations and will perform contract review, applying technical guidance for revenue recognition compliance. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment across various functions within the business and finance organization. This position reports to the Worldwide Controller Organization. Key Responsibilities: - Work on the FA and clearing process - Reconcile the FA subledger to ledger - Open and close the FA Subledger - Maintain the FA ledger by adding, removing assets, and transferring assets - Responsible for monthly close activities, including preparing journals and performing SOX controls and checks - Collaborate with Business Partners such as F&S, Sourcing, IT, etc. - Ensure timely completion of general ledger account reconciliations - Adhere to Fixed Asset and prepaid accounting policies and procedures - Provide ad-hoc analysis on Fixed Asset/prepaid data - Prepare metrics and KPIs on the Fixed Asset/prepaid area - Assist in annual audits with external auditors (Statutory/GAAP) Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of accounting experience - Experience in Oracle Systems, specifically the Fixed Asset Module - Experienced in Oracle multi-currency and multi-country ledgers - Strong communication skills - Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Willingness to be hands-on - Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.)
