Job Description

Role Overview: As an Associate Manager in the Enterprise Platforms team at Invesco, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of new features, providing ongoing support, and leading a team of software engineers to ensure excellence. Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing technical data, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders, and communicating project progress effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze complex technical data to support decision-making processes. - Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical reports and presentations. - Work closely with engineering teams to identify technical requirements. - Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders regularly. - Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects. - Monitor project progress and perform risk assessments to develop mitigation strategies. - Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within the platform. - Coordinate the implementation of upgrades or new systems to enhance performance. - Provide ongoing support for platform systems, addressing any issues promptly. - Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, bugs, or other technical problems. - Provide day-to-day support and guidance to a small team of software engineers, helping remove blockers and ensuring clarity of priorities. - Facilitate regular 1:1s and team check-ins to foster career growth, engagement, and feedback. - Collaborate with leaders and technical leads to align team goals with organizational objectives. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience serving as technical analysts or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment. - At least 2+ years of leading teams (directly or indirectly) while advocating positive career progressions. - Experience in internships or entry-level positions related to product management, project management, or business analysis. - Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketing professionals. - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders. - A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field of study or equivalent years of direct work experience.
