Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

Whether it is through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or systems features to meet customers needs, you will have every opportunity to shape the business. You will also be exposed to a myriad of Trade and Cash Management products through various marketing campaigns and joint visits with our relationship managers..

Job Purpose

The role of the Implementation Manager is to implement cash management, trade and SFS solutions (payments, collections, liquidity, trade etc.) for mandates. The Implementation manager would drive integration of Digital channels (RAPID, IDEAL, MAX) with client ERP systems. In addition, department and organisation level projects would also be handled.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive digital mandate implementation and transactions. Support sales for critical deal sales pitches. Ensure digital channel targets (no / revenue) are met.
• Perform revenue realisation analysis for the mandates implemented. Circulate relevant usage, revenue MIS to all stakeholders.
• Support integration of digital solutions with client ERP systems to ensure Straight through processing. Client training and system trouble shooting is an integral part of the role. Evaluate and develop suitable vendors for technology and client - support, as relevant, based on business growth and requirements
• Establish profile of the Bank as a cash management provider in India. Undertake frequent competitor analysis and share with Senior Business Development Manager/Product Team to enable DBS Cash Management offerings being in line with competing banks. Also identify local promotional activities and share the same with Senior Business Development Manager which will help positively reinforce DBS Cash Management brand.

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Ensure efficient Customer Handling and management.
• Implement cash & trade management solutions (Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, Trade, SFS) for mandates through a structured implementation approach. Monitor and improve turn-around times for clients to go-live on won mandates.
• Support and manage special projects. Special projects to be determined in consultation with Head Cash Management.
• Interact with internal stakeholders in India and Region for efficient implementation processes/solutions.
• Implement mandates as per project management framework within stipulated TAT s as agreed with the unit SLA.

Required Experience

• Good understanding of the Implementation process through preferably prior project management / electronic banking experience of more than 2 years
• Market knowledge and experience of Cash Management, with reference to customer preferences and requirement would be preferable

Education / Preferred Qualifications

A graduate/MBA, with relevant number of years of experience as stated above

• Good planning & organising skills. Planning, scheduling and monitoring deliverables, within a stipulated time frame using effective methods
• Good team management skills / working with multiple stakeholders

Technical Competencies

• Understanding of cash management products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures
• Sound understanding of electronic banking products and associated systems, technology platforms and operational procedures
• Experience of dealing with partner banks, vendors and technology providers as well as understanding industry dynamics
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.
• Internet and Microsoft Office Skills

• Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with relationship group as well as service partners in the bank such as Product Mgt, Operations, Finance, Legal etc, so as to ensure seamless delivery of products to clients
• Establish rapport with our clients so as to win their business, confidence Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with service partners in the bank such as Technology, Operations, GTS - Singapore etc. as well as relationship groups, viz., FIG, EBG and IBG so as to ensure seamless delivery of products to our clients and business growth and smooth functioning of the branch as a whole.
