Description
As an Assistant Vice-President in the Finance department at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in producing and reviewing various IRR reports, including EVE report, NII report, and NIM Actuals/Forecast reports. Your responsibilities will include liaising with other IRRBB teams, site ALCM, and support teams to ensure all relevant inputs are received for the reports. You will be expected to explain variances, interpret reports, and provide meaningful analysis and commentary to facilitate business decision-making. Additionally, you will assist in executing stress-test exercises and identifying improvement opportunities to drive changes. Key Responsibilities: - Independently produce and review IRR reports such as EVE report, NII report, and NIM Actuals/Forecast reports - Collaborate with other IRRBB teams, site ALCM, and support teams to gather necessary inputs - Explain variances and interpret reports, providing meaningful analysis and commentary - Assist in executing stress-test exercises - Identify improvement opportunities and drive changes - Implement Target Operating Model for IRRBB FinOps As an Assistant Vice-President, you will engage with various stakeholders, including Group, Regional & Site Treasury, IRRBB Project teams, and Stress-testing teams. Building and maintaining collaborative relationships based on trust and respect will be essential. You will be responsible for presenting MI packs, engaging with stakeholders to identify improvements, and escalating key issues effectively for timely resolution. Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate/graduate with 8+ years of experience, preferably in treasury/regulatory/finance area - Experience in IRRBB, Treasury, Regulatory/Financial Reporting, or Global Markets - Strong analytical skills, eye for detail, and problem-solving abilities - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Knowledge of SQL database and QRM application is a plus - Ability to identify and mitigate risks through appropriate controls - Proven experience in automation, process improvement, and project support - Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines By joining HSBC, you will have the opportunity to achieve more and contribute to the organization's growth and success.
