As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Consumer Credit Risk at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and operational excellence of credit risk management activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of credit risk data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, security, and quality. - Implementing robust data governance frameworks and controls, including managing data integration from various sources. - Ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory standards such as FCRA, OCC, CFPB, and Federal Reserve across all data processes. - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to data quality, credit risk models, and regulatory non-compliance. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties to align credit risk strategies and operational objectives. - Leading initiatives to drive automation, enhance efficiency, and improve scalability of data management, testing, and compliance. - Contributing to the development and implementation of credit risk strategies, optimizing data usage, and ensuring operational excellence. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Risk Management, IT) with Master's degree or specialized certifications being advantageous. - Proven experience in consumer credit risk management or financial services with a deep understanding of credit risk models and regulatory reporting. - Strong capabilities in data analysis, data integration, and managing complex data sets, along with proficiency in technical tools like SAS and SQL. - Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities to convey complex information to diverse audiences. - Demonstrated leadership potential, regulatory acumen, and experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
