🥐 Job Description: Assistant Store Incharge – Bakery Job Title:Assistant Store Incharge – Bakery Department:Retail Operations / Store Management Reports To:Store Incharge / Bakery Manager / Area Manager Role Summary: The Assistant Store Incharge supports the daily operations of the bakery store, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, inventory, staff management, and customer service. The role involves supervising counter staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring that all bakery products are well-presented and available to meet customer demand. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Store Incharge in managing daily store operations. Supervise counter sales staff, bakers, and helpers to ensure efficiency. Ensure bakery products are fresh, properly displayed, and well-stocked. Monitor and maintain inventory levels; coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism. Support in opening and closing the store, including cash handling and sales reconciliation. Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness of the store as per food safety standards. Train and guide new staff on sales, product knowledge, and customer service. Monitor product shelf life and manage FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Assist in achieving sales targets through upselling and customer engagement. Prepare and share daily sales and stock reports with the Store Incharge or management. Required Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (degree/diploma in hospitality or retail management is a plus). 2–3 years of experience in a retail bakery, café, or food service environment. Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Basic knowledge of bakery items and food safety standards.
