Role & responsibilities

Assistant Manager - Liner Sales

Liner Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement
sales strategies
to achieve volume and revenue targets.
Identify and onboard
new customers, freight forwarders, and corporate clients
.
Analyze
market trends, competitor activities, and trade route opportunities
.

Freight Rate & Pricing Management

Negotiate
freight rates and service contracts
with shipping lines.
Ensure
competitive pricing strategies
based on market dynamics.
Work closely with pricing teams to optimize
trade lane profitability
.

Slot Utilization & Space Management

Monitor
vessel space allocations
and ensure maximum utilization.
Coordinate with operations teams to manage
bookings and container flows
.
Identify opportunities to
increase volume on key trade lanes
.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with
shippers, exporters, and key clients
.
Provide customized
logistics solutions and value-added services
.
Ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction and retention
.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and mentor a
team of sales executives
to achieve business objectives.
Conduct
training sessions on market trends, sales techniques, and trade compliance
.
Track
KPIs, performance metrics, and sales forecasts
.
