About the Role

The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving domestic market sales of PE Films and VCI Films, developing new customers, managing existing accounts, and supporting product development initiatives as per market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales & marketing activities for PE Films and VCI Films in the domestic market.
  • Identify new business opportunities across assigned market segments/industries.
  • Support market development initiatives in assigned regions.
  • Implement sales strategies aligned with market expectations and customer requirements.
  • Assist in launching new products and drive their adoption with customers.
  • Act as a communication bridge between customers and internal teams.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with product, marketing & R&D teams.
  • Develop user groups and forums for new product evaluation & feedback.
  • Support onboarding of new key accounts and provide necessary operational support.
  • Provide product, segment, and market orientation to internal stakeholders.
  • Educate suppliers on packaging quality standards and export regulations.
  • Evaluate business intelligence related to competitors, products, and market trends.
  • Serve as escalation support when required for key customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Excellent written & verbal communication (English, Hindi, and local language preferred).
  • Strong understanding of regional industries and market dynamics.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Experience in flexible packaging / industrial products / VCI & non-VCI preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Structured, creative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Market/segment knowledge and customer-centric approach.
  • Willing to travel Pan-India for client visits & business development.
