Assistant QA QC Manager

• Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Chemistry / Food Technology / Food Science / Biochemical Technology / General Business Qualification.

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product quality, food safety, and new product development (NPD) initiatives in line with international standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Assurance systems across the global supply chainfrom raw material sourcing to finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with global and national food safety and packaging regulations (FSSAI, ISO, EU, US FDA, BRC).
• Lead investigations into customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective CAPA actions to prevent recurrence.
• Supervise laboratory operations (Physical-Chemical and Microbiology Labs), ensuring product release, COA issuance, equipment calibration, and record accuracy.
• Manage coordination with external laboratories, pest control agencies, and hygiene monitoring services to maintain best-in-class standards.
• Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and contribute to corporate audit readiness and certification programs.
• Analyze data and prepare monthly QA/QC performance dashboards for management review.
• Drive training and capability-building programs for QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with MNC quality policies and global standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:-

• Strong command over Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP, GHP, HACCP, and Food Safety Audits.
• Excellent understanding of global compliance standards FSSAI, ISO, BRC, FDA, EU food regulations.
• Proven experience managing laboratory testing, calibration, and analytical validation.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinker with expertise in RCA, CAPA, and risk-based quality management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic MNC environment with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
