Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused professional to join our team as a

Assistant Project Manager – NPD. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of product launches across categories, serving as the operational core of the NPD process.

You will be responsible for managing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams,

and overseeing all executional aspects from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate brings a

strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively solve problems

in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

 Drive end-to-end project execution of NPD initiatives, ensuring all key milestones are

met within defined timelines.

 Liaise with cross-functional teams including R&D, Packaging, Marketing, Design, and

Procurement for real-time updates and approvals.

 Manage timely submission, review, and approval of all development elements

including packaging, formulation, and documentation.

 Maintain and update project trackers, documentation repositories, and launch

schedules with high accuracy.

 Provide weekly project reports to internal stakeholders and flag any risks to

timelines or dependencies.

 Ensure marketing readiness including sample availability, shoot coordination, and

briefing alignment.


 Oversee production readiness and facilitate smooth handover to the supply chain

team.

 Conduct thorough quality checks and facilitate internal product reviews prior to sign-

off.

 Support market research and category benchmarking to inform development

strategies.


Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or a related field.

 2–3 years of experience in an NPD, operations, or project management role within

the beauty, personal care, or FMCG sector.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to project management tools like

Monday.com, Asana, or Smartsheet is advantageous.

 Exceptional coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.

 Strong written and verbal communication for reporting, documentation, and

stakeholder management.

 Familiarity with product development processes, documentation (BOMs, INCI lists,

etc.), and regulatory checklists is a plus.
