Assistant Professor of Computer Science

ob Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced faculty member to join our Computer Science department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate/postgraduate courses, guiding student projects, conducting research, and contributing to academic development in the field of computer science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core and elective courses in Computer Science such as Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, AI, ML, Web Development, etc.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and course materials aligned with academic standards.
• Guide student projects, seminars, and research activities.
• Mentor students in academic and career development.
• Conduct and publish research in reputed journals/conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum design and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in academic audits, accreditation processes, and faculty development programs.
• Support the organization of workshops, hackathons, seminars, and industry interactions.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Prior teaching or research experience in a recognized institution preferred.
• Strong academic and technical background in CS subjects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to use modern teaching tools and online learning platforms.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to emerging technologies (AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.)
• Research publications, patents, or industry collaborations
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
• Participation in curriculum design or outcome-based education (OBE)
