Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science located in the Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, conducting research, and guiding student projects in Computer Science. Daily tasks include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, participating in curriculum development, contributing to departmental and university activities, and staying updated with advancements in the field. The role also requires mentoring students and participating in academic advising and committees.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Computer Science, including Data Science and Cybersecurity
• Experience in Programming and Curriculum Development
• Strong research skills in the field of Computer Science
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is preferred ( Thesis Submitted can also apply)
• Prior teaching experience is advantageous
