Role Summary

Radiology Professor

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical training in Radiological Techniques, Imaging Modalities, Radiation Safety, and Diagnostic Imaging.
• Develop academic content, assessments, and teaching materials in accordance with the curriculum and industry needs.
• Mentor and guide students during clinical postings and internships in collaboration with hospital partners.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Radiological sciences and incorporate the same in teaching methodology.
• Collaborate with industry experts, radiologists, and healthcare providers for academic enrichment and guest lectures.
• Participate in academic audits, NAAC/NSDC/DGT-related compliance documentation, and quality control.
• Contribute to departmental research, publications, and seminars.

Qualifications

• B.Sc/M.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT)
• Minimum 5 years of teaching or clinical experience in diagnostic radiology or imaging sciences
• Strong knowledge of X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Interventional Radiology
• Familiarity with CBME-based education or skill-based frameworks is desirable
