Chandigarh University invites applications from dynamic and qualified professionals for faculty positions in the field of Computer Applications. The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic growth of the institution.

• Deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals (essential for tenure consideration).
• Supervise and mentor students in projects, internships, and research work.
• Contribute to curriculum development, pedagogy innovation, and academic planning.
• Advise and coach students in academic and career development.
• Engage actively in departmental, institutional, and university service activities.
• Support and organize co-curricular and extra-curricular events.

• Essential: MCA (Regular) with minimum 60% marks.
• Desirable: Ph.D. (awarded/pursuing).
• Undergraduate degree (Regular) with minimum 60% marks.

Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

• Web Development
• Linux Administration
• C, C++ Programming
• Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Data Science (DS)
• Database Systems / Advanced Database Management Systems (ADBMS)
• DevOps & Process Automation
• Backend Technologies
• Containerization with Docker
• Cloud Virtualization
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Advanced Multimedia & Animation

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Research orientation with potential to contribute to high-quality publications.
• Ability to handle modern teaching tools and technology-enabled pedagogies.
• Leadership in student engagement and extracurricular activities.
